Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist - IT & Professional Services in Northridge, CA. This hybrid role requires three days onsite per week with two days remote, focusing on software, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, and professional services sourcing.

You will lead complex RFPs, negotiate contracts and SOWs, and advise stakeholders with market intelligence and pricing benchmarks while partnering across Legal, Finance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and PMO to ensure compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Proven experience sourcing software, cloud, infra, telecom, hardware, and professional services.
• Proven success negotiating and delivering cost savings and business value.
• Strong understanding of technology markets, pricing models and contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing initiatives for software, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom, digital solutions, and related services.
• Manage complex RFP/RFQ processes, drive cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate and execute contracts, SOWs, amendments, renewals, and other agreements.
• Provide market intelligence, supplier recommendations, and pricing benchmarks to stakeholders.
• Lead high-volume sourcing projects and support category strategies for procurement objectives.
• Balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day sourcing activities to meet timelines.
• Support TSA exit initiatives and onboarding of replacement suppliers and services.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, PMO, and Quality on contract lifecycle management.
