Agility Partners is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a key client in the technology sector. Based in Columbus, Ohio, you will lead cross-functional initiatives from initiation through delivery, employing both Waterfall and Agile methods to drive successful outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on experience in planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management experience within an IT organization.
• Strong experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience with project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and governance processes.
• Ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success working independently and within cross-functional teams while driving collaboration, decision-making, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, Agile boards, resource plans, and budget tracking while managing risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate communication between business owners, technology teams, operations teams, and leadership to drive successful project outcomes.
• Provide regular status reporting, manage issue escalation and resolution, and support change management activities throughout project execution.
