Qualifications

• Ability to prepare, analyze, and process IT acquisitions, purchase estimates, and procurement documentation.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, reviewing quotes, evaluating bids, and supporting contract award decisions.
• Skilled in reviewing and validating technical specifications, approvals, and program needs.
• Strong ability to track contract renewals and proactively identify upcoming expirations or required updates.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support staff and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting ongoing IT procurements, support, and services for the Department of State Hospitals.
• Provide back-up and support for budget functions within the Administrative Services Unit.
• Handle IT procurement processes, process reengineering, and business analysis as needed.
• Contribute to strategic planning, product/delivery strategy, and IT portfolio management.
