firstPRO, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Business Engagement Manager to bridge Marketing and Sales leadership with enterprise technology strategy. You will translate business priorities into long-term technology roadmaps, craft investment cases, evaluate solutions, and prep initiatives for successful deployment.

The role emphasizes strategic, business-facing IT leadership, investment planning, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio governance rather than hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT, technology strategy or business engagement.
• Proven experience in IT business relationship management and strategic planning.
• Strong MarTech background with relevant platforms (DAM, PIM, CMS, CRM).
• Guided initiatives from concept through requirements, evaluation and implementation.
• Experience building multiyear roadmaps and managing investment portfolios.
• Financial acumen including ROI analyses and cost-benefit assessment.
• Led vendor evaluations, RFPs, contracts, and procurement activities.
• Ability to engage senior executives and influence strategic choices.
• Collaborated cross-functionally with IT Architecture, Finance, Procurement, Delivery.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic tech advisor to Marketing and Sales leaders.
• Develop 3- to 5-year technology capability roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities, define requirements, and determine outcomes.
• Evaluate initiatives for alignment with objectives and ROI.
• Develop business cases with benefits, costs, and ROI.
• Lead vendor evaluations; coordinate RFPs, SOWs, licenses.
• Collaborate with EA, Business Analysis, IT Delivery, Finance, Procurement.
• Prepare executive investment proposals and funding recommendations.
• Manage technology investment portfolios and budgets.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment for informed decisions.
