Confidential Executive Search | Southeast U.S. is seeking a Head of Information Technology to lead the organization's technology strategy, operations, cybersecurity, and business applications.

This senior leader will partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities, improve operational efficiency, strengthen security and reliability, and support long-term growth. The role is hybrid, covering the Southeast with collaboration across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong background in strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Excellent executive communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex tech issues into clear business ROI.
• Strategic, collaborative, results-oriented leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, applications, and operations.
• Oversee major technology implementations and transformation initiatives.
• Establish technology policies, standards, security practices, and risk management.
• Manage technology vendors, partners, budgets, and resources.
• Lead and mentor an IT organization of ~100 employees across multiple states.
• Partner with executives to identify opportunities and deliver measurable business value.
• Ensure reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology services.
