Job summary

Findorff, an employee-owned construction firm in Madison, WI, seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead the enterprise technology function. You will drive strategy, people development, and systems across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and analytics while aligning tech with business goals.

The role reports to the Senior VP of Operations and requires a collaborative leader who can build strong partnerships and advance technology initiatives across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership
• Experience leading enterprise technology functions including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data & analytics
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid infrastructure, networking, IAM, disaster recovery
• Familiarity with ERP, data governance, BI, and systems integration
• Experience with CMiC/Oracle/Snowflake/Tableau or similar platforms
• Proven budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning skills
• Executive communication and relationship-building across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Findorff's enterprise technology organization
• Develop and execute the technology strategy, roadmap, governance, and portfolio
• Mentor and develop team members and foster cross-functional partnerships
• Support enterprise applications, systems integration, and analytics initiatives
• Establish governance, prioritization, resource planning, and performance metrics
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, DR/BC, IAM, and IT service management
• Advance data, analytics, and business intelligence to improve reporting and decisions
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investments
• Communicate technology priorities and risks to executive leadership
