Job summary

Seattle Convention Center is seeking a Director of Information Services to serve as the strategic technology leader, shaping a comprehensive vision that enables organizational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.

Reporting to the CFTO, you will oversee IT, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, BI, data governance, AI governance, and modern workplace platforms while guiding modernization and responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business engineering, or a related field.
Six (6) years of increasingly responsible information technology management and contract administration experience, including three (3) years’ experience supervising technology professionals and project management experience.
An equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the essential job functions and provide the required knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year Information Services Strategic Plan aligned with SCC's priorities.
Serve as the organization's senior technology advisor to executive leadership.
Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives that improve processes and customer service.
Establish technology governance with measurable business outcomes.
Evaluate emerging technologies and develop implementation roadmaps.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.
Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, and disaster recovery planning.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of technology systems.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Information Services staff.
Develop the annual operating and capital budgets for Information Services.
