Job summary

Mountain Laurel Medical Center seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead strategic direction and day-to-day IT operations, including managing staff, projects, upgrades, and cybersecurity initiatives to support the organization's mission and strategic plan.

The role also serves as HIPAA Security Officer, ensuring ePHI protection and compliance with HIPAA Security Rule, while guiding risk assessments, incident response, and data governance across clinical, operational, and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• Proven leadership of IT operations, staff, and technology projects.
• Experience supporting EHR or healthcare IT systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data analytics, and HIPAA basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT applications, staff, and implementations to meet corporate goals.
• Manage project planning, execution, and vendor relationships.
• Lead cybersecurity controls, risk assessments, and data governance.
