Job summary

Mobility Global, based in Centreville, Virginia, is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to drive our IT audit program from planning through reporting. You will lead engagements, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure rigorous documentation and credible findings that drive business improvements.

The ideal candidate has Big 4 or public accounting experience, strong SOX ITGC/ITAC knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years IT audit experience.
• Big 4 or comparable public accounting experience preferred.
• Active audit-related certification such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or CIA preferred.
• Knowledge of SOX ITGC, ITAC, and IPE, with risk-based audit methodologies.
• Ability to manage IT audit engagements independently from planning through reporting.
• Strong workpaper documentation and audit quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player who can lead and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit engagements from scoping through draft report preparation with fieldwork and findings.
• Execute and review SOX ITGC and ITAC testing with process walkthroughs and assessments.
• Perform non-SOX audits across IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud configuration, and more.
• Coach and review junior staff with real-time feedback and quality assurance.
• Support annual risk assessment and engagement scoping with insights.
• Communicate audit status, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Draft clear audit findings and management reports translating issues into actions.
• Monitor open findings and drive timely remediation with process owners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and templates.
• Design and implement automated audit procedures using available tools.
