Job summary

U.S. Bank in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Deputy Director to develop and deliver investor communications that connect business strategy with financial performance and long‑term growth.

You will lead writing, presentations, and visual storytelling for investors, analysts, and the Board, coordinating with Finance and Corporate Communications to ensure accurate, timely messaging. Collaborative, data‑driven, and highly influential role in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of investor communications that reinforce the company’s long‑term vision, business strategy, financial performance, and growth priorities.
• Create clear, high‑quality written and visual materials, including executive presentations, earnings‑related content, investor meeting materials, talking points, briefing documents, and leadership summaries.
• Partner with Investor Relations leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex business and financial information into consistent, differentiated, and audience‑appropriate messaging.
• Conduct company, competitor, peer, industry, and market analysis to identify relevant themes, anticipate investor and analyst questions, and support executive preparation.
• Collect, monitor, and synthesize investor perceptions, analyst perspectives, stock‑price movements, ownership information, and relevant market developments for internal audiences.
• Support relationships and communications with industry analysts and investors, including preparation for meetings and follow‑up materials.
• Monitor financial‑services trends, capital‑markets themes, and peer‑company news and performance; prepare concise summaries and actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Manage complex deliverables and workstreams across Finance, Corporate Communications, business teams, and other partners, maintaining strong quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Provide project leadership and informal guidance to analysts or partners as needed; this role does not require direct people management.
• Support applicable third‑party risk management activities for the department.
