Job summary

Blue Owl Insurance Solutions (BOIS) seeks an Associate in its New York office to support strategic partnerships and investments within the insurance ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in investment banking, FIG, M&A, or capital markets / structuring.
• Experience with insurance corporate development or asset manager with an insurance platform is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis; familiarity with GAAP/statutory insurance statements preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute strategic transactions with insurance companies (M&A, minority equity investments, reinsurance, and bespoke capital solutions).
• Underwrite equity investments in specialty finance and origination platforms with insurer needs in mind.
• Assist in acquisition and structuring of asset portfolios to meet insurer objectives.
• Structure investment solutions including feeder structures and capital-efficient formats across credit, asset finance, and real estate.
• Build financial models, insurer capital analysis, and rating agency capital frameworks.
• Conduct due diligence, prepare investment committee memos, and coordinate across internal and external teams.
