Job summary

Minnesota State Board of Investment in Minnesota is seeking an Investment Analyst, Intermediate or Senior, to support performance analytics and reporting for its investment program. The role involves measuring, validating, and communicating performance across asset classes with internal staff and external providers.

The position reports to the Head of Performance Analytics and requires familiarity with portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in financial services or a comparable role.
• Working knowledge of institutional investment concepts, including asset allocation and performance benchmarks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to pursue CFA program.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and report portfolio and composite performance across asset classes and line items.
• Generate internal and external reports, daily monitoring, quarterly board books, and annual reports.
• Maintain data quality and consistency across custodial, accounting, and internal platforms.
• Contribute to asset allocation studies, system/process enhancements, and performance measurement projects.
