Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in investment data, investment operations, data governance, or related functions.
• Deep understanding of investment data concepts (securities, issuers, benchmarks, pricing, valuation, reference data).
• Experience leading cross‑functional governance forums, working groups, or councils.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence across multiple teams.
• Experience with data quality management, cleansing, and governance practices.
• Proficiency with data management tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, SQL, VBA, Python, or PowerApps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Investment Data Council with agenda development and documented outcomes.
• Partner with business, risk, and data governance to prioritize data issues and drive resolution.
• Oversee governance for domains like securities, issuers, benchmarks, and pricing.
• Define data quality standards, controls, and escalation pathways.
• Oversee data sourcing, validation, processing, and distribution across platforms and vendors.
• Identify and onboard new data sources in partnership with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and reduce costs in data operations.
• Translate complex data topics into clear roadmaps and actionable recommendations for executives.
