Job summary

Dana-Co in New York seeks a Planning Associate to support inventory planning, forecasting, and reporting for a high-volume apparel business. You will translate SKU-level data into clear recommendations that support sales and inventory productivity.

Requires 2–3 years in planning or analytics, strong Excel skills, and experience handling large datasets. You will develop repeatable reports and partner across Planning, Sales, Merchandising, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Experience with large datasets and high SKU counts.
• Ability to identify trends and exceptions within detailed data.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments.
• Apparel or fashion retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales, inventory, and demand planning.
• Maintain and analyze forecasts at style/color/size/SKU levels.
• Monitor key metrics such as sales, inventory, weeks of supply, and sell-through.
• Identify shortages, overstock, and replenishment opportunities.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and recurring reports from large datasets.
• Translate analysis into actionable findings and recommendations.
