Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring an Inventory Planning Controller 2 to manage finished goods inventory across sales warehouses and plant points, aligning with demand forecasts and production plans. The role requires SAP experience and familiarity with ERP systems, MBOM/OBOM prayer, and MES exposure.

Based in Roy, UT (or Ogden, UT), this position follows a 9/80 schedule with relocation assistance possibly offered and requires US citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 0 years with a Masters or an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
• Must have a minimum of 3+ years experience working in SAP
• 1 to 2 years of related production scheduling or MRP experience

Responsibilities

• Plans and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand.
• Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts.
• Develops and maintains inputs to inventory system.
• Coordinates liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand.
• Initiates immediate actions in out-of-stock situations. Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods.
• May use multiple ERP systems.
