Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled inventory planning professional to manage finished goods inventory across sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory points. The role analyzes levels, forecasts, and coordinates stock movements to meet demand.

The incumbent will work with traffic, production planning, and warehouse teams, ensuring data integrity and timely actions in out-of-stock situations. A Bachelor’s degree and clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed from an accredited college/university.
• Ability to obtain an interim clearance after offer and before starting.
• Working knowledge of material resource planning and/or inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plans and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory points.
• Analyzes inventory levels, positioning, and forecasts to meet demand.
• Coordinates liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand.
• Initiates actions in out-of-stock situations and coordinates with traffic and warehouse staff.
