Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a skilled MRP/Production Planner to drive Make, Buy and BOM planning within manufacturing operations. You will optimize material flow, coordinate with Procurement and Operations, and maintain accurate MRP parameters to meet production schedules while supporting inventory optimization and cost reduction.

The role requires experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work across shifts as needed to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 3 years of experience, or 1 year with a Master's.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP/MRP system.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours as required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Perform Make, Buy and BOM planning activities for MRP transactions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and schedule optimization.
• Maintain MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations Management to align time-phased plans for procured parts.
