Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is hiring an Inventory Buyer/Planner in Cranberry Township, PA. The role supports inventory planning and control with a hybrid work model (2-3 days in the office).

You will partner with Customer Service, Project/Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to meet demand and optimize materials. Qualifications include 2+ years as a buyer/planner, APICS/CPIM preferred, and SAP/MRP expertise.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a buyer/planner.
• APICS/CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal customers and teams to enable dialogue.
• Review, validate, and implement MRP requisitions to meet demand.
• Develop forecasts and inventory strategies to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Product Engineering to support production and manage obsolescence.
