Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager, Operations to act as a senior finance partner across maintenance, flight operations, material planning, supply chain, and real estate. You will own core planning, forecast vs actuals, and high-priority ad hoc models to support leadership decisions.

• ,Must be able to forecast, consolidate, and present operating plans.
• -Experience building driver-based financial models for operations.
• -Strong modeling skills including P&L, capex/opex planning.
• -Ability to translate operational realities into financial insight.
• -Comfortworking with large datasets and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic finance partner to Global Operations leaders across multiple teams.
• Own forecast vs actuals, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and financial performance reviews.
• Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and consolidation processes.
• Build and maintain driver-based models for operating forecasts and long-range planning.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and decision models for leadership on growth, margins, and cost optimization.
• Partner with operators to translate goals into financial implications.
• Analyze cost drivers across labor, maintenance, materials, real estate, and launch costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve margin, utilization, and forecast accuracy.
• Build repeatable reporting tools, dashboards, and planning workflows.
