Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. in Beaverton, OR, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to oversee receiving and stockroom operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and support on-time production commitments.

You will plan daily work, maintain organized areas, reconcile stock, and collaborate with production teams to meet schedules while adhering to ISO 9001/13485, GMP, and ITAR in a lean environment. Experience with MRP systems and barcoding is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years stockroom management in manufacturing.
• Experience automating stockroom functions (e.g., barcoding).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the receiving and stockroom areas.
• Plan daily work schedules and set daily goals.
• Update Excel-based schedules and ensure timely kit delivery.
• Motivate team to improve areas and processes.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized areas and equipment.
• Interface with other areas to meet delivery schedules.
• Reconcile inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain physical inventory accuracy and report transactions.
• Operate materials control to meet audit requirements in a Lean environment.
• Communicate effectively with production, staff and customers.
• Implement processes and training to meet business needs.
