Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving a 22‑county region in North Florida and South Georgia. This Enterprise-wide role develops and executes strategic internal communications that inform, engage, and connect colleagues across TMH.

It partners with departments, clinical services, leaders, and organizational stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, timely messages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, journalism, content development, or related field.
• Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in internal communications and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic internal communications to inform, engage, and connect colleagues across TMH.
• Partners with departments, clinical services, leaders, and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, timely communications.
• Supports recruitment marketing through strategic messaging, colleague stories, digital content, campaigns, and campaigns to elevate TMH's reputation.
• Plans, writes, edits, and coordinates content across internal channels including SPARK, email, newsletters, digital signage, presentations, videos, town halls, and events.
• Analyzes communication performance and colleague feedback and recommends improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources (HR), journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
