Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Internal Auditor to partner with stakeholders across the organization in Allentown, PA. You will evaluate financial controls, business processes, and compliance, delivering clear recommendations and supporting risk management.

The role offers exposure to global operations and a pathway for career growth within the Internal Audit function. The candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, an associate degree, and a basic proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering, Digital Technology, Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations.
• CPA/CIA preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs).
• Ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures to determine compliance and risk.
• Basic data analytics to observe trends.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit engagement scopes of limited to moderate complexity.
• Develop risk and control matrices and testing procedures for audit engagements.
• Execute audit engagements of limited to moderate complexity in line with standards.
• Prepare clear, concise reports with observations, root causes, risks and recommendations.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Identify control techniques from process walkthroughs and evaluate effectiveness.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley testing using established templates and analysis.
