Job summary

The Intelligence Analysts at George Mason University’s Washington/Baltimore HIDTA ISC support criminal investigations by planning and directing intelligence collection, processing data, and producing visual briefs for law enforcement partners. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, expert knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle, and training from DEA or IALEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of and demonstrated experience with the Intelligence Cycle.
• Specific intelligence analyst training from law enforcement or accredited organization (DEA/IALEA).
• Knowledge of federal regulations regarding collection and dissemination of intelligence information.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and directing intelligence collection and processing.
• Prepares reports, charts, graphs, maps for briefings and case support.
• Attends meetings to gather and share information with agencies.
• Manages ISC special projects as needed.
