Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Information Security Officer (ISO) to join the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) organization. This role partners with GBAM CIOs/CTOs and business stakeholders to understand objectives, technology strategy, and cybersecurity risks.

The ISO provides strategic guidance and oversight to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, technology risk management, security operations, or security consulting.
• Understanding of security controls, risk management practices, and cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and networks.
• Ability to communicate and influence senior business and technology leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary information security advisor for assigned GBAM, guiding cybersecurity risks, policies, standards, and controls.
• Oversee development and ongoing governance of information security practices within the line of business.
• Provide risk-based challenge and advisory support for technology initiatives and strategic programs across GBAM.
