Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Information Security Officer (ISO) to partner with GBAM CIOs/CTOs and business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of objectives, technology strategy, and cybersecurity risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, technology risk management, security operations, or security consulting.
• Knowledge of security controls, risk management practices, and cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise systems.
• Ability to communicate with senior leaders and influence decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk.
• Understanding of vulnerability management concepts and remediation governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary information security advisor and point of contact for assigned GBAM, providing guidance on cybersecurity risks and controls.
• Develop, implement, and oversee information security practices within the line of business.
• Provide risk-based challenge and advisory support for technology initiatives and programs.
• Influence investments to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.
• Advise leadership on cybersecurity risk issues and actions aligned with regulatory objectives.
• Collaborate with Risk, Technology, and Control partners to enhance security processes and governance.
• Communicate GIS policies and initiatives within the organization.
• Establish relationships across business, technology, risk, and control functions for risk management.
• Coordinate with risk partners and tech teams to address vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Drive remediation efforts and support sustainable security solutions.
• Support security consultations, risk assessments, governance activities, and reporting.
