Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks a senior procurement professional to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will craft and execute category strategies, manage RFx activities, and drive cost reduction, supplier performance, and governance.

With a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience, you will negotiate terms with suppliers, lead cross-functional projects, and travel up to 15% domestically.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field required.
• 6+ years of experience in procurement or a related occupation.
• Experience developing cost savings proposals and negotiating complex contracts.
• Experience with RFx processes and supplier performance management.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost savings proposals through should-cost analysis and market research.
• Lead RFx activities, contract reviews, and negotiations with suppliers.
• Drive strategic sourcing and supplier performance across categories.
• Provide data-driven market insights to executive leadership.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve commercial and operational issues, and ensure supply assurance.
