Responsibilities include processing requisitions, negotiating contracts, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with company policies. West Palm Beach, FL-based position with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2–5 years of Purchasing experience.
• Experience using an ERP system for buying, researching, reporting.
• Analytical skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of requisitions from multiple sites under assigned categories.
• Prepare and coordinate agreements for assigned commodities and/or services.
• Use ERP to run complex reports and perform analytics.
• Release orders in a timely fashion per guidelines.
• Negotiate contracts, price, and supplier agreements.
• Evaluate, qualify, and select suppliers based on quality, service, cost and capability.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of market trends affecting categories.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
