The role involves negotiating pricing, releasing RFPs/RFQs, and coordinating activities to fulfill procurement needs for operational supplies, travel contracts and related items. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of sourcing experience in non-production commodities, plus SAP Ariba expertise and CPP/CIPS Level 2 preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, supply chain or related field.
• 2+ years sourcing in non-production commodities.
• Experience with SAP Ariba.
• CPP accreditation (CIPS Level 2) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Using a 7-step sourcing process create and release RFPs and RFQs by tracking market factors and strategy priorities.
• Negotiate to target cost using market intelligence and pricing trends.
• Identify and implement process improvements to keep the business ahead of competition and improve operations.
• Build and strengthen supplier relationships and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Receive and validate pricing from suppliers and maintain pricing history.
• Forecast the impact of price changes and ensure documentation is complete.
• Act as liaison between departments to resolve supply issues within assigned commodities.
