Job summary

ARaymond is seeking an Indirect Commodity Buyer to source indirect goods and services that support operations. You will prepare bid specs, evaluate proposals, and make purchasing decisions with moderate financial impact, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement with cost objectives.

The role requires a degree in Business or Supply Chain and 3+ years in purchasing, with strong negotiation and ERP software experience to drive cost savings and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing or sourcing experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with indirect procurement categories.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect materials and services (office supplies, IT equipment, professional services, facilities, PPE, transportation).
• Prepare bid specifications, solicit and evaluate vendor bids, negotiate pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with department managers, engineers, and operations staff to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
