Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Global Equity Team in valuing and executing new hire equity awards, performing ad hoc analyses, and handling daily equity plan administration.

You will generate monthly and quarterly reports, collaborate with Tax, FP&A, Payroll, and provide forecasting support, with opportunities to influence reporting processes and participate in group initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Compensation Team and HR Business Partners to value and execute new hire equity compensation awards.
• Perform detailed ad hoc analyses related to individual and firm-wide equity holdings.
• Assist with daily operations regarding administration of the firm's equity plan.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reporting for equity participants and management teams as well as individual inquiries.
• Assist team members with SIG and Blackstone initiatives related to technology, reporting, and process improvement.
• Provide monthly forecasts to Tax and FP&A and work with management on equity-based compensation reporting.
• Collaborate with Payroll and Tax on the review and execution of equity deliveries across reporting jurisdictions.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models to assist in forecasting of distributions and share deliveries.
• Assist in enhancing reporting processes, analytics and operations.
• Perform strategic analyses and special projects, and execute group initiatives.

Global Equity Team

The Global Equity Team is responsible for the administration, operations, and reporting for the firm's equity-based compensation program. In partnership with the Global Compensation Management team, HR business partners and the business managers, the team helps determine equity-based compensation awards for professionals across the firm. This group is responsible for managing the daily operations associated with managing the program and for paying distributions to unitholders in connection with the release of the firm's quarterly earnings. The team forecasts and records the equity-based comp expense and performs ad hoc reporting associated with equity holdings and coordinates with Finance to deliver financial reporting on impact to the firm.

Salary and Compensation

Expected annual base salary range: $85,000 - $110,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.

For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
