Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead inbound terminal operations, coordinating a team of drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.

You will oversee loading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight, while reviewing routes for efficiency and ensuring DOT/OSHA safety standards are upheld. A degree is preferred, with strong leadership and tech aptitude valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, cross-docking, or shipping/receiving.
• Strong leadership qualities and customer-service focus.
• High aptitude for technology and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound operations for the designated section of the terminal dock.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.
• Oversee loading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight picking/sortation.
• Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiency.
• Monitor freight in transit and assist drivers with road issues.
• Ensure KPI goals are met and maintain DOT/OSHA safety standards.
