Job summary

Self Enhancement, Inc. seeks a visionary Chief Impact Officer to align strategy, philanthropy, communications, technology, and learning to maximize outcomes for African-American youth and families.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CIO will integrate three departments into one data-informed, mission-driven division and report to the CEO. The role focuses on financial sustainability, brand storytelling, capital campaigns, and strategic partnerships to advance SEI's 10-Year Growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience, incl. 3 years leading senior managers.
• Proven success in fundraising or revenue strategy for a mission-driven org.
• Experience guiding communications, brand, or public engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve on Executive Leadership Team shaping agency strategy and key decisions.
• Lead Development, Culture & Communications, and Data & Technology as an integrated division.
• Advise CEO on fundraising, communications, and data-informed decisions.
• Oversee fundraising strategy and capital campaigns, major gifts, and events.
• Build partnerships with funders, civic leaders, and community partners.
