Job summary

Cara Collective seeks a strategic Chief Impact Officer to lead the Impact Team and oversee all programming, admissions, and participant support. You will align services across departments, supervise 35+ team members, and partner with donors, employers, and board committees to advance our mission.

The CIO reports to the CEO, sits on the Executive Team, and shapes program strategy, development, and outcomes across Cara’s mission-driven initiatives, including Cleanslate.

Qualifications

• Progressive executive leadership experience in direct service organizations.
• Master’s degree (see above) or 15 years of direct service program experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Cara’s direct service delivery model (recruitment/intake, SEL, life coaching, career coaching, and placement).
• Coordinate services including financial and digital literacy to support participant success.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external contracts and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Drive fundraising collaboration and support organizational priorities including Cleanslate and other ventures.
• Oversee budget and ensure program impact aligns with strategic goals.
