Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment in Washington, DC, leading workforce transformation for the United States Secret Service. You will direct a team in developing strategic human capital plans, including revised hiring, retention, performance management, and development processes among other functions.

The role requires leading teams, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and clear communication with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least seven years leading strategic human capital transformation and implementation solutions.
• Five or more years of management consulting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in developing strategic human capital plans and implementation strategies.
• Direct stakeholder analyses, personas, and journey maps.
• Analyze human capital data and derive meaningful insights.
• Develop metrics to evaluate plan effectiveness.

What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the United States Secret Service organization. The Managing Consultant will lead a team in the development of strategic human capital plans to foster workforce transformation efforts including revised hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions.

• Leading teams in the development of strategic human capital plans and accompanying implementations plans
• Leading and directing teams in stakeholder analyses, including segmenting and developing stakeholder personas and journey maps
• Leading and directing teams in the analysis if human capital related data and gleaning critical insights
• Developing metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of strategic human capital and growth plans
• Preparing for and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings
• Providing direction and technical assistance to a team of at least 5 in the areas of problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex solutions
• Managing multiple concurrent assignments while directing the work of a team and ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products
• Preparing a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leaders

What You Will Need :

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

Bachelor's degree and at least SEVEN (7) or more years' of relevant experience leading strategic human capital transformation and implementation solutions and directing the work of a team, including FIVE (5) or more years of management consulting experience

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
• Experience consulting for the DHS
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal
• Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationship
• Experience working in DHS

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
