Job summary

The Doe Run Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead staffing, training and development, employee relations, and performance management for a diverse workforce.

This role is based at the Buick Mine in Boss, MO and will support initiatives across Viburnum Trend operations as needed. We offer a competitive base pay, eligibility for a company bonus plan, and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with HR certification and 7 years in HR.
• Alternatively, an Associate degree with 5 years in HR.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: support hiring from screening to selection and create/update job descriptions.
• Training and development: coach leaders and identify skill gaps.
• Performance management: address gaps and support reviews and coaching.
• Communications & Employee Relations: guidance on policy, benefits, leaves, investigations.
• Seek innovative strategies to improve attraction, engagement, and retention.
• Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
