Ilisagvik College is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions, ensuring alignment with the college’s mission and strategic direction. This role collaborates with the President’s Advisory Team and oversees policies, compensation, benefits, onboarding, and staff development.

The position requires a Master’s degree in HR or related field, 5+ years of HR leadership, supervisory experience, and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years HR leadership experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets and programs.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative leadership for all HR functions aligned with the college mission.
• Advise management on compliance with laws, policies, and directives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Develop training, onboarding for supervisors, faculty and staff.
• Manage compensation, benefits and FLSA classification.
• Prepare HR budgets and audit records; maintain handbook and safety records.
