Job summary

UT Health Sciences College of Medicine Chattanooga campus seeks an HR Consultant 2 to manage day-to-day HR services across the staff and faculty lifecycle. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Transcripts required.
• Three years of experience in human resources.

Responsibilities

• Provides counsel to department heads, directors, and others regarding complex employee situations.
• Recommends employee relations practices to promote a positive employer-employee relationship.
• Conducts investigations and implements solutions.
• Drafts disciplinary actions and supports performance reviews.
• Guides on Family and Medical Leave and Sick Leave Bank processes.
• Oversees recruitment, postings, screenings, interviews, and selection.
• Coordinates onboarding activities for new hires.
• Manages applicant tracking systems and HR policy compliance.
• Develops and delivers training for supervisors and staff on HR topics.
• Oversees payroll processing and resolves discrepancies.
• Manages ERP HR data entry and reporting.
