Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join the HR Team at the Susquehanna nuclear power plant near Berwick, PA. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, delivering strategic and hands-on HR support in a highly regulated environment.

You will handle labor relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, and HR processes and systems, building strong relationships and influencing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline is required.
• Eight or more years of progressive HR experience in highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Labor and employee relations experience including contract and grievance administration.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear generating facility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and hands-on HR support to leaders and employees.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles.
• Support delivery of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
• Administer labor relations activities including interpretation of labor contracts and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and nuclear industry regulations.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness.
