Job summary

EBC HR & Payroll Solutions is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor in Buffalo, NY to provide advanced HR support to HR Services, clients, and internal partners. The role includes advisory duties, policy interpretation, and project coordination to deliver best-in-class HR services.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with laws, developing HR templates, auditing processes, and delivering training on programs such as leadership and annual sexual harassment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
• 3-5 years of relevant HR experience.
• 2+ years of relevant HR compliance experience.
• Knowledge of HR concepts and employment/labor laws (e.g., FLSA, Title VII, FMLA).
• Ability to travel locally 2-4 times a week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Must demonstrate judgement and discretion with sensitive material.
• Highly thorough, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assists Manager, HR Services on the formulation and administration of HR plans and policies.
• Acts as designee for Manager, HR Services, upon request.
• Analyses HR issues and provides solutions as a client consultant.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Develops and maintains HR communications and templates.
• Advises on policy interpretation and routine questions.
• Improves workflow processes to support HR Services and clients.
• Develops data reports and conducts audits for compliance.
• Researches changing legislation and attends trainings.
• Handles employee life cycle documentation and records.
• Delivers trainings and materials related to HR programs.
• Guides clients on performance, salary administration, and succession planning.
• Collaborates with sales to support revenue growth.
