Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Courtyard Amarillo location. You will solicit, manage, and close accounts to positively impact hotel revenues, with daily HHBR participation and comprehensive product knowledge across Food & Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and adherence to policies, with occasional long hours and on-site duties in Amarillo, TX. This position offers hourly compensation and sales-focused incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employees and guests.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be skilled in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily HHBR meetings and develop knowledge of hotel operations.
• Standards adherence to sales policies and SOPs by the sales team.
• Meet or exceed set sales goals and manage the sales budget.
• Handle inquiries and Sun in the Inquiry Day program as scheduled.
• Initiate and follow up on leads and maintain active solicitation program.
• Entertain clients and conduct site inspections highlighting property features.
