Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking an Asset Manager, Hospitality to serve as the ownership's primary representative, overseeing third‑party hotel assets and maximizing long‑term value.

In this role you will lead financial underwriting for transactions, manage operator relations, and coordinate joint ventures, blending operational audits with high‑level financial analysis to support investment objectives and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in hospitality asset management or hotel investment analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hotel Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Argus Enterprise is required.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of hotel P&Ls and valuation techniques.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills; ability to work with third‑party operators and JV partners.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead support staff

Responsibilities

• Act as principal liaison between ownership and third‑party hotel operators to ensure execution of the approved business plan.
• Negotiate and monitor compliance with HMAs, ensuring operators meet contractual and financial obligations.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly performance audits; identify revenue growth or expense mitigation opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs including RevPAR Index, GOPPAR, and Flow‑through/Retention.
• Lead financial analysis, reporting, and underwriting of potential hospitality transactions and joint ventures.
• Review and approve annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.
• Perform discount cash flow (DCF) modeling and NPV analyses for repositioning scenarios.
• Oversee CapEx budgets; ensure renovations and PIPs meet timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on major property projects.
• Produce communications for JV partners and senior executives; mentor assigned analysts.
