HCA Healthcare is seeking a Corporate OR/Business Analyst to partner with Surgical Services leadership, analyzing operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The role standardizes reporting, supports data governance, and translates findings into actionable recommendations across corporate, division, market, and facility levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, information management, nursing, or related field, or equivalent healthcare ops experience.
• Three+ years in healthcare operations, surgical analytics, data governance, or performance improvement.
• Ability to analyze operational performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; data visualization/BI tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication in a matrixed setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze surgical performance, utilization, and financial data; develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports for decision-making.
• Identify trends and opportunities; perform root-cause analysis and quantify impact of actions.
• Support capacity, throughput, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation modeling.
• Translate findings into practical improvement plans; track progress and communicate results.
• Support standardized definitions, reporting methodologies, and data governance to ensure consistent measurement.
