Job summary

Tower Health in Reading, PA seeks a Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller to direct payroll, accounts payable, and internal controls across accounting functions. The VP will supervise staff, manage GL close, prepare financial statements, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and oversee capital budgeting and cash projections.

The role partners with Treasury and business analysts to deliver accurate financial results and drive performance. CPA and hospital experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a hospital or health system is strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience in a large, complex environment.
• CPA certification and GAAP knowledge required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple accounting functions including payroll and AP.
• Establish internal controls across assigned functions.
• Supervise general accounting staff and GL closing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in annual budget development and projections.
• Collaborate with Treasury for cash needs and reporting.
• Interpret data with business partners and ensure timely reporting.
• Resolve complex accounting issues with sound judgment.
