Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist to build descriptive, diagnostic, inferential, and predictive analytics across clinical, operational, and financial domains.

The role focuses on coordinating large analytics programs, integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering actionable insights to drive strategy and performance improvements for the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field with healthcare analytics experience.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, cloud technologies, BI/analytics, and data management.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and customer service skills; able to lead projects and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to complex data analytics programs to support strategic health initiatives.
• Plan, execute, and close projects involving multiple data sources and systems across units.
• Communicate critical findings to peers and leadership; present results to broader audiences when applicable.
• Manage multiple assignments with varying depth and duration to support mission objectives.
