Confluence Health in Washington state seeks a qualified compliance leader to manage the Corporate Compliance Department and execute the annual Workplan in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

Reporting to the Vice President of Risk & Regulatory, you will supervise staff, drive policy development, oversee audits, and coordinate enterprise-wide training while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 6 yrs recent/relevant experience and 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Healthcare compliance experience (desired).
• CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance).
• Strong analytical and clear communication skills.
• Thorough research skills.
• Ability to develop partnerships, teamwork, and good working relationships.
• Understands the complexities of a large, coordinated organization.

Responsabilités

• Manages the Corporate Compliance Department including staff performance and department budget.
• Responsible for hiring, professional development, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination of staff.
• Develops the annual Compliance Workplan in conjunction with the VP of Risk & Regulatory and manages its performance.
• Maintains tracking systems for compliance related issues and assists in preparing status reports on investigations, findings, and remedial measures.
• Manages planned and ad hoc projects as they arise.
• Investigates complaints, concerns, or questions relative to compliance issues, and provides consultative leadership and support to all entities involved as appropriate.
• Reviews data and conducts audits to determine compliance issues and instances of suspected fraud, waste and abuse.
• Works with leadership to develop an effective compliance training program, including introductory training for new staff as well as ongoing training for all staff.
• Manages external auditing contract performance.
• Prepares quarterly reports for the Compliance Committee detailing compliance initiatives throughout the year and summarizing progress on the annual Compliance Workplan.
• Develops, reviews, revises and maintains compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stays abreast of compliance developments in health care and its impact on the organization; keeps staff and leadership aware of such changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
