Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Cove PREP in Torrance, PA seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations and treasury, directing monthly close, revenue cycle, budgeting, and cost controls. You will partner with senior leaders to drive financial performance in a secure adolescent care setting.

The role requires CPA or advanced degree preferred, 3+ years CFO experience in healthcare, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business‑related field with major in Accounting.
Minimum 3 years CFO experience in healthcare preferred.
Behavioral healthcare experience highly preferred.
Proven financial analysis skills.
Experience with IT systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Ensures monthly financial statements are completed timely and accurately.
Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly and corrects variances.
Prepares corporate reports (MOR, Monthly Certifications, Disclosures, Forecasts).
Ensures internal controls and audit readiness.
Directs Revenue Cycle to optimize cash collections and minimize uncompensated care.
Oversees Front End Revenue Cycle processes including insurance verification and discounts.
Maintains knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and cost reporting.
Supervises Accounting, Patient Accounting, HIM, Materials Mgmt and HR as needed.
Monitors purchasing to control supply costs within budget.
Prepares annual operating budget and capital budgets; analyzes variances.
