Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) in Sparks, NV is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 108-bed acute care facility. The CFO will lead financial strategy, GAAP compliance, and performance improvement to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s preferred with healthcare exp.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial experience; healthcare background highly desired.
• Expertise in GAAP, regulatory reporting and payer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Maximize hospital financial performance and drive improvements in operations and finance.
• Supervise reports outlining financial position and operating income/loss.
• Lead federal/state/hospital association and other required financial filings.
• Develop staff, set direction, coach teams and build commitment.
