Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a Health Systems Business Development Manager to drive revenue with U.S. health systems. You will engage executives, educate on mental health benefits, and collaborate with Bend Health and Lyra teams to deliver value.

The role is fully remote with 40% travel, requiring proximity to Philadelphia, PA. You will use Excel and PowerPoint to build compelling business cases, manage pipelines, and influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in sales, business development, consulting, or comparable roles.
• Experience selling directly to health systems or working as a consultant with health systems is preferred.
• Tenacious and persistent.
• Skilled negotiator on business terms of a contract.
• Interested to better understand the workings of the US healthcare system.
• Passion for mental health.
• Intellectually curious.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Quantitative with a love of diving into numbers to identify insights.
• Willingness to travel (40%)

Responsibilities

• Exceeding your annual quota of bringing in new Bend health partners.
• Inspiring senior executives at leading companies to urgently prioritize mental health.
• Prospecting new potential business independently and in collaboration with key Bend and Lyra lead generation partners.
• Educating partner leadership about the US mental health care system and Bend’s mental health benefits.
• Finding ways to communicate Bend’s unique value verbally, in writing, and quantitatively.
• Successfully negotiating with medical directors, administrators, network contracting, finance, and procurement executives.
• Consistently documenting your deal progress to ensure Bend has the data needed to grow our business.
• Coordinating with Bend and Lyra’s Customer Success team to ensure successful implementations and ongoing client management.
• Continuing to build relationships with contracted health systems to grow referral volume and increase scope of covered and referred services
