Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Director of Health System Administration to lead high-priority enterprise initiatives from planning to implementation. You will coordinate cross-functional collaboration, prepare executive materials, and align leadership priorities across departments with the Health System.

The role reports to a Health System executive leader and emphasizes driving efficiency, strategic planning, and performance measurement within a large academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, public health, nursing, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Master's Degree in a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of high-priority enterprise initiatives from planning through implementation with clear objectives, milestones, and accountable owners.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration among Health System leadership and clinical leaders.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and decision briefs for leadership and stakeholders.
• Communicate executive decisions and strategic priorities clearly to stakeholders.
• Represent senior Health System leadership on committees and strategic initiatives.
• Develop strategies to optimize efficiencies, throughput, and cost containment.
• Develops and tracks performance metrics and identifies process improvements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on goals and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze trends to inform decision making and drive organizational growth.
