Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a lead administrator to develop and manage high-priority Health System projects. The Director will coordinate administrative functions, drive cross-functional collaboration, and align leadership priorities across departments with the Health System.

The role reports to a Health System executive leader and requires coordinating complex initiatives, preparing executive materials, and ensuring clear communication of strategic decisions across

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/healthcare related field is required or preferred.
  • Experience leading, coordinating and delivering high-priority projects.
  • Advanced degree preferred, demonstrating continued professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of high-priority enterprise initiatives from planning through implementation, establishing objectives, milestones, performance measures, and accountable owners.
  • Monitor progress of strategic initiatives, identify risks and barriers, develop solutions, and escalate matters requiring executive direction.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, ensuring seamless communication between Health System leadership, clinical leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and decision briefs for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure executive decisions and strategic priorities are clearly communicated across the organization.
  • Represent senior Health System leadership on committees, task forces, and strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with developing strategies to optimize efficiencies, throughput, and cost containment.
  • May serve on key committees within the Health System.
  • Develop and track performance metrics, measure effectiveness, and identify process improvements opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set short- and long-term goals aligned with the mission and strategic plan.
  • Analyze trends and performance metrics to inform decisions and drive growth.
  • May supervise staff and provide leadership as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, health care administration, public health, nursing, or a related field
5 Years Of Progressively Responsible Related Experience Preferred
Master's Degree in a related field
